Palimpsest
I always thought that the gestures that we make daily while walking are too little appreciated despite that they display the choreography of our lives. I am thinking of the imprints of our footsteps that confess much about our presence at a given time, in a specific place. So, I started to record and make sense of them and try to aesthetically exploit that footprint traces and further develop a series of feet drawings. A collection of experimental drawings and paintings so as to produce some new strange results. Drawing with my feet using the waste, the dirt, the smoke... Cultivating hesitations, searching for the unknown gesture in a quest for expressing the unintended.
